Sunbuild Constructions is successfully led by father-and-son team Ron and Gary Clarke. Both have spent much of their adult working lives in the construction industry, and both pride themselves on their attention to quality and detail, and personalised, one-on-one approach. Both Ron and Gary believe that building relationships is just as important as building structures.

A carpenter by trade, Ron was also a TAFE lecturer in Building Registration Studies. Ron has been building quality homes in Perth for the past 30 years, and is now the Construction Manager at Sunbuild Constructions, competently overseeing building, renovation and formwork projects.

Ron’s son Gary is the Contracts Manager at Sunbuild Constructions. Gary has been involved in the building industry for 29 years, working on both residential and commercial projects such as Perth Children’s Hospital, Elizabeth Quay, King’s Square and Joondalup Health Campus.
Registered builder Gary began his career as an apprentice carpenter in the residential building industry nearly three decades ago. He holds a Diploma of Building and Construction and is currently completing his Bachelor of Construction Management at Curtin University.
Gary prides himself on building strong working relationships and delivering a personalised service to clients at all stages of the project cycle. Gary takes enormous pride in the culture of the team, recognising their focus on safety and customer outcomes.
Gary believes that commitment to safety and employee training and development, together with innovative and cost-effective solutions, set Sunbuild Construction above its competitors.

Paul has worked on some of the largest projects in Western Australia and the UK including the $1bn Gateway Project, the $1bn+ Gorgon Project and the $1.4bn Gorgon Jetty Project, Wembley Stadium, Canary Wharf and the White City retail development.
Paul first worked for Gary Clarke in the early 1990s as a commercial and residential formwork carpenter. As the business started to grow Paul was soon managing small teams on some of the larger West Coast Formwork projects.
In 1998 Paul moved to the UK where he quickly established himself with a strong reputation as a leading hand and before returning to Perth in 2005 he was the formwork supervisor on the 19 story Hilton Hotel at Canary Wharf in London and the Chiswick Park office development.
Upon his return to Western Australia Paul was again working for West Coast Formwork as a Site Manager on a number of large projects throughout Perth. In 2011 Paul moved to Leighton Constructions where his extensive experience lead to his role as Construction Supervisor on some of Western Australia’s largest construction projects including the $1bn Gateway Project and two $1bn+ Gorgon projects.
Returning again to work with Gary Clarke, Paul brings a high degree of professionalism, with a proven track record in managing large teams, exceeding program and budget targets while maintaining an exemplary high standard of safety.
